Baby Fox has had a fever the last few days and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t freaking out about him being in pain and uncomfortable. Pure torture. I’m sure any mamas reading this are nodding their heads in agreement. There’s nothing worse. After a night of ZERO sleep and two days of not being allowed out of his sight, this is the first evening I’ve been able to get him off the boob after nursing him to sleep. SO I’m taking the time to write about this look. **Just as I finished the last sentence Fox woke up and beckoned to me as he does most evenings… so I came running… as I do most evenings. So here’s take two** There’s something so powerful about a button down on a woman. A crisp starched collar buttoned all the way up gives a woman a dapper demeanor that straightens her stature and trickles down into her strut. This button down includes some flare on the right side of the garment. But only the right side. There’s nothing like a bit of asymmetrical design that adds intrigue to a piece. Simple, minimalist with a smidgen of dominatrix. And of course, one can’t go wrong with black and white. How do you like to wear your button down tops?
What I love about this look:
- asymmetrical lace-up feature
- the long line design of the top
- my mesh Style Reform leggings with my initials
- my slick beret (haven’t worn one since I was 7 years old!)
